Context

The earlier 5X website felt outdated and didn’t reflect how much the company had grown. As 5X expanded to consultancy and also offered the product with more features, the website needed to better showcase everything and feel more aspirational and credible.

Problem

The earlier branding didn’t do justice to the company’s ambition. Working within tight timelines and constraints, we redefined the visual language to build a stronger, more solid presence.

Before the re-design

Building the visual language

The primary audience was CTOs and senior engineers who influence product adoption. To resonate with them, the website leaned into a dark theme with a more tech-forward visual style and illustrations. Working within tight timelines, we prioritised speed and impact. Launching key pages first with a simple yet effective design. We iterated upon the foundation at a later stage, elevating the brand with accent colours, gradients, a more refined illustration style, from a mobile-first UI design point of view.
