Project Overview- From Brand to Growth

Context

5X is an all-in-one, managed data and analytics platform that helps companies unify their data stack within a fully managed environment so that the team can focus on outcomes. 5X needed to change the look as it shifted from a tech-first startup to a more business-focused platform, to resonate with broader decision-makers. I crafted this identity by collaborating with the founder, designed a brand which elevates into something professional and reliable.

Problem

The existing logo didn’t reflect this shift as it as it lacked in personality and steadiness and distinctiveness, creating an opportunity to redefine the identity with a more refined, credible, and business-oriented outlook.

Brand Identity

The goal was to create a logo that felt balanced, approachable and grounded in a minimal yet distinctive visual style. After exploring several directions, we arrived at one that truly resonated with the brand. The final mark feels strong and dependable, reflecting the sense of trust and reliability we wanted the brand to convey.

Visual Language

The colour palette leans on muted tones, with a pop of orange used intentionally to highlight key elements. The typography features General Sans - which feels approachable yet distinctive, paired with Manrope - a modern and pleasant typeface that is highly readable.

Web design

The 5X website was redesigned to improve click-through rates and overall user engagement. It focused on creating a clearer user experience, stronger messaging more relavant to the CXOs and visible social proof to build trust and drive conversions. Visit the site at https://www.5x.co/

Templatising the marketing requirements

I developed distinct visual styles for various marketing needs such as webinars, events, ebooks, one-pagers etc, while ensuring they all aligned with the overarching 5X visual language. The goal was to create flexible, easy-to-use templates that maintain consistency without requiring constant design involvement. This allowed stakeholders to update content and visuals independently, reducing dependency on designers for smaller tasks and improving overall efficiency.
